My Dear Country
My Dear Country
'Twas Halloween and the ghosts were out,
And everywhere they'd go, they shout,
And though I covered my eyes I knew,
They'd go away.
But fear's the only thing I saw,
And three days later 'twas clear to all,
That nothing is as scary as election day.
But the day after is darker,
And darker and darker it goes,
Who knows, maybe the plans will change,
Who knows, maybe he's not deranged.
The news men know what they know, but they,
Know even less than what they say,
And I don't know who I can trust,
For they come what may.
'cause we believed in our candidate,
But even more it's the one we hate,
I needed someone I could shake,
On election day.
But the day after is darker,
And deeper and deeper we go,
Who knows, maybe it's all a dream,
Who knows if I'll wake up and scream.
I love the things that you've given me,
I cherish you my dear country,
But sometimes I don't understand,
The way we play.
I love the things that you've given me,
And most of all that I am free,
To have a song that I can sing,
On election day.
Norah Jones...
-- what is happening to you my dear country. I heard many things happened to you. Many victims...
It is sad that the biggest part of you, the poorer, are still be the poorer...
Elections, which people say are part of democratization, will it really help them? Who knows....
"But the day after is darker,
And darker and darker it goes,
Who knows, maybe the plans will change,
Who knows, maybe he's not deranged."

Nak
Jauh Jalan Yang Harus Kau Tempuh
Mungkin Samar Bahkan Mungkin Gelap
Tajam Kerikil Setiap Saat Menunggu
Engkau Lewat Dengan Kaki Yang Tak Bersepatu
Duduk Sini Nak Dekat Pada Bapak
Jangan Kau Ganggu Ibumu
Turunlah Lekas Dari Pangkuannya
Engkau Lelaki Kelak Sendiri
Andra, be tough person.... we proud of you
this song makes me trembling: "Nak" by Iwan Fals

Weather anomaly
It should be summer in southern hemisphere. But it seems that anomaly happens, as it is still 21 degrees in Sydney. The peak of the summer usually comes at January to February. New term should be introduced here… “Global Cooling”.

It's just a mobile
That mobile phone… you may record all the conversation but still… you would not able to say that it was me…
I don’t know who brought it… sometimes it wasn’t me… and you can’t say that it was me. It’s just a mobile.
Let me finish my cigarettes… before it is banned… in my own room, in my own ashtray.

A night at Melbourne
Down in Melbourne, near Flinders Station… Surrounded by artistic buildings with colorful lights, which warm the 22 degrees night. I sat there for a while, feeling the peaceful atmosphere, watching many peoples smiling and some of them laughing. Some youths singing accompanied by guitar in the front gate of flinders station.
I’m wondering people in the world feel the same.. peace… no more rockets strike Gaza.. no more crying caused by war… Everyone smile to each other.. no matter where you coming from, no matter what is your religion… no matter what is your skin color…
